'The Bloody Tail of a Black Lizard' was to be a mindbending Giallo that would top what had been seen on the silver screen so far. Everything was set to go, but just days before the production was about to begin, the entire film crew disappeared in a South American jungle. They left no trace behind.

Guido De Profundis' score for the film was thought to have been lost in a fire that destroyed the production offices soon after the crew's disappearance. A version of the recorded score was eventually located buried within boxes of old books and records in the cellar of De Profundis' Tuscan villa.

Presented here in almost complete format is De Profundis' score which pulsates with shades of Goblin, Bruno Nicolai and even Morricone. The cover art is based on a poster sketch found alongside the music.

The only way to see "The Bloody Tail of a Black Lizard" is to close your eyes and open your ears...
